Saucepan Head

No one really knows why Harry Katliņš has a pot on his head. Every day, when the children see him coming out of his house, they shout at the top of their lungs, “Saucepan Head! Saucepan Head!” and throw stones at his aluminum headgear. But that is not enough - the local rogues Rat, Pigeon, and Greenhorn have decided to break into Saucepan Head’s home to take away what he values most - the pot. But why act so cruelly? Hasn’t the suspicious gentleman already suffered enough from his neighbors’ wrongs? But what if Saucepan Head is not so innocent after all? One misunderstanding leads to another, and Saucepan Head’s life takes a new turn and... new friends.

A story about making sense of what we do not understand, or of trying to see beneath the “pot” each of us has put on to protect ourselves from a cruel world. What is empathy? How does it help people become friends? What should you do when the “pot” has fallen off and you have to choose - put it back on your head or trust those around you and let yourself go on an adventure?
