Novelist Silvia is desperately searching for inspiration for a new work. She begins secretly watching the neighbors across the street, imagining their life stories and turning them into her own tale. When Silvia hires the young Adam to help with daily chores, her carefully constructed world begins to change. Gradually, the boundary between the writer's imagination and reality becomes increasingly blurred, and the imagined story begins to affect the lives of real people.
The film is in French with Latvian and Russian subtitles.
