KINO Feature Film Spy Thriller “DARK BORDER” (2026, Latvia)

This fast-paced spy feature film is set in 1938 and tells the story of journalist Baltais, who is sent on a secret mission to the border zone to prevent the possible transport of a Russian intelligence pilot to Russia with information that threatens the security of the Latvian state. While carrying out this mission, Baltais uncovers other secret plans of the Soviet spy network and comes to know real friendship, trust, and betrayal. The question - which side are you on - sharply echoes later historical events and also the present day.
