Aspiring director Kristiāns Iesalnieks, in collaboration with playwright Ivo Briedis and inspired by Stanley Kubrick's legendary film - the grotesque tragicomedy Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) - has created his own 21st-century version of fear. It is the painfully personal reaction and uneasy reflection of a future artist on a situation in which the world has once again become mad and cold. In the young director's view, "today's era has become even more unclear, today's adversary even more abstract, and incompetence even more visible".
