We invite young and old to a warm and joyful Christmas concert “Caramels,” where beloved children's vocal ensemble “Knīpas un Knauķi” will perform together with Ingus Ulmanis, Aigars Voitišķis, and Andris Sējāns.

The concert will feature well-loved Christmas songs by Ingus Ulmanis, Aigars Voitišķis, Raimonds Pauls, Zigfrīds Muktupāvels, Valts Pūce, Andris Sējāns, and other composers.

“Knīpas un Knauķi” is one of Latvia's best-known children's vocal ensembles, with more than 55 years of history. The ensemble has performed in Latvia and abroad and has collaborated with many outstanding musicians and composers. It has received high praise in local and international festivals, competitions, concerts, and projects of various sizes. The members of “Knīpas un Knauķi” are equally capable of performing music from different genres - from folk music to rock and academic music in polyphonic a cappella performance. Its musical achievements have been repeatedly recognized with the Latvian Music Recording of the Year award “Golden Microphone.”

The concert will also feature the ensemble groups “Zvirbulīši,” “Ķīvītes,” and “Urdaviņas,” which have been taught and led with care and love by Sanita Sējāne since 2008. Ingus Ulmanis (vocals, guitar), Aigars Voitišķis (guitar), and Andris Sējāns (vocals, keyboards) will also perform together with the children.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the restoration of Ropaži Church!
