Crazy good comedy. Just perfect when everything goes wrong, and that's why it gets crazy good. Have you ever met a stranger in the bathroom? Have you decided to save your reputation with the help of an actor and intervened in another person's life to save yours? Ever witnessed well-hidden passions suddenly explode like a champagne bottle? If not, it's time to see it! This fall, British playwright Donald Churchill's stage hit "A Crazy Good Day" by J. J. Gillinger's witty production, which premiered on October 15, 2025. It is a comedy that explodes the shell of decency and shakes out of us everything that we hide on a daily basis. This is one of Churchill's most performed plays, and has been a favorite of theaters around the world for decades. The premiere at Watford Palace Theater was followed by a triumphant tour of the UK, ten years of success in Germany, applause in France and standing ovations in at least 25 other countries, including the USA, Italy, South Africa and Israel. And now - in Latvia! "Crazy Good Day" looks behind the scenes of English high society. Where there is apparent decency and sophistication, in reality simmers tension, jealousy and the desire for justice, or at least proper revenge. Unexpected twists, thinly disguised emotions and shameless passions - this is exactly how a summer afternoon will turn out, when all the characters meet by chance or by chance in a London apartment. A decorator with actor's ambitions, brushes and Shakespeare in a backpack, a temperamental society lady with a plan that must not be ruined, and a furious "ex" - with a wooden hammer, a desire to take revenge and "tell everything"... What can go wrong? EVERYTHING!!! Cast: Rihards Lepers, Linda Kalniņa and Marika Šmukste Scenographer: Aigars Ozoliņš Choreographer: Linda Kalniņa Costume designer: Annemarija Ščegoļeva Director: Dž. J. Jillinger Comedy "Crazy good day" - it will be a crazy good time... Just perfect!
