Concert Performance LIFE AS CABARET

The king of musicals and a mirror of its era - the legendary musical “Cabaret” is celebrating its 60th anniversary, while stage icon Liza Minnelli turns 80 this year. To mark this unique double anniversary, we invite you to a dazzling, provocative, and sensual concert story where Broadway scale meets the energy of Latvia’s rising stars!

This will not be just a concert. It will be a musical feast, telling the story of the legendary artist and the world of cabaret, where anything is allowed.

The concert performance will feature:

Emīlija Helēna Pavlovska - a Latvian singer and graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, who hones her talent every day in New York;

Markuss Krūzs-Santjago (Marcus Cruz-Santiago) - Emīlija’s classmate, a charismatic singer from New York;

Eduards Rediko - a young Latvian actor and powerful musical theater voice.

The event will be enriched by dynamic performances and choreography from talented students and graduates of the musical theater department of the Riga Cathedral Choir School.

An instrumental group led by pianist Matīss Žilinskis will provide an authentic, live, and sparkling cabaret sound.

Organized by: the “Magnum Somnium” Foundation for the Advancement of Young Women’s Education.
