Concert Program "Rivers Are the Largest of Our Streets"
The mixed choir "Talsis" of Talsi Secondary School No. 2 will perform songs arranged by composer Kristaps Krievkalns in a story about Latvia's rivers.
"Rivers are the largest of our streets," says the composer, "flowing through Latvia, they are at the same time like our shared bloodstream." The Mēmele, the Daugava, the Gauja, and the Lielupe will merge into one shared story, resonating in the pearl of the Abava ancient valley - the Sabile Art, Culture and Tourism Center, right on the bank of the Abava.
At the piano, composer and song arranger Kristaps Krievkalns. The sound will be enriched by the double bass - Pēteris Liepiņš. Conductors Kristaps Solovjovs and Matīss Tučs.
The mixed choir Talsis's motto: "With the sun in our hearts, a smile on our lips, and a song in our pocket!"
See you in a story with a patriotic spirit!
