CONCERT “ABOVE THE HEAVENS AND OUR OWN LAND”

During the Latvian national holidays, we invite you to a special musical evening at the concert “Above the Heavens and Our Own Land,” where three outstanding musicians will meet - soprano Gunta Gelgote, saxophonist Artis Sīmanis, and organist Kristīne Adamaite.

The concert will weave together the moving sound of the human voice, the varied timbral nuances of the saxophone, and the majestic grandeur of the organ. The music will invite reflection on our land, its history, freedom, spiritual values, and our belonging to Latvia.

November is a time when we especially feel the importance of our land, remember those who fought for Latvia’s freedom, and value peace, faith, and being together. The concert will be an opportunity to pause for a moment in the rush of everyday life, listen to music, and feel its power to unite, inspire, and move us.

We invite you to experience a musical evening where heaven, earth, and love for Latvia meet!
