TIME SIGNS. Egils Rozenbergs Exhibition

On August 27 at 17.00, the opening of Latvian textile artist Egils Rozenbergs's tapestry exhibition Time Signs will take place at the GORS Art Gallery in the Latgale Embassy, along with a meeting with the artist. The exhibition focuses on the signs and symbols characteristic of the era, which the artist seeks and interprets in his works, revealing what is typical of our time. The exhibition at the Latgale Embassy GORS will be on view until October 25. Admission is free.

The works in the exhibition Time Signs express the conviction that the passage of time has continuity and that our future is rooted in reflections of the recent past.

Egils Rozenbergs is one of the most important Latvian textile artists, whose work is characterized by large-scale compositions, a vivid color language, and a constant search for new materials and forms. His tapestries include references to Latvian ethnography and folklore, sea and nature motifs, impressions of travel, and reflections on the era in which we live.

The GORS Art Gallery in the Latgale Embassy can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12.00 to 21.00.
