LATVIA’S Birthday GREEN DANCE

LATVIA’S birthday sing-along green dance at BLAUMANĪ |

• 27.11.

Our dear LATVIA was born in the dark harshness of November, perhaps that is why for Latvians singing means the same as eating. That is why singing is our nation’s psychotherapy, a well-being workout, and a joy yoga.

There are songs that need no sheet music. They live in the universe of our emotions. Somewhere between the heart and memories, between first love and the last green dance, between the carefree summers of childhood and the life celebrations crafted in tradition.

We will celebrate LATVIA’S birthday at BLAUMANĪ with sound and cheer!

With full hearts, open hearts, sparkling joy, and songs that are always on a Latvian’s lips.

Let’s throw a real autumn green dance, BLAUMANĪ’S sing-along celebration, without fear of a slightly off note.

The musical sparks, the joy of singing together, and the lively evening conducting will be masterfully handled by the dynamic pop-up duo ES IZJĀJU PRŪŠU ZEMI - the legendary celebration masters Egīls Vētra and Armands Leja.

It is time to dust off the old songbooks, shake the forgotten verses out of the pockets of memory, and join in the perfectly polished choruses.

There will be songs that move you, songs that make you smile. Songs that will heat your blood and not let you sit still. And there will definitely be songs that make you want to hug the person next to you while singing.

LATVIA must be sung. Because LATVIA is a song that we protect and cherish!
