Latvian Winter Swimming Championship, IWSA World Cup Stage

The XIX Latvian Open Winter Swimming Championship will take place in Liepāja, and this year it is also a stage of the International Winter Swimming Association (IWSA) World Cup. We invite winter swimmers from all over Latvia and the world to gather at the peaceful Beberliņi Reservoir in Liepāja, to meet, test their strength in cold water, and compete for the title of the best in various disciplines.

The championship will take place on November 20 and 21 in a specially created six-lane pool in the northern part of the Beberliņi Reservoir (8 Lībiešu Street, Liepāja). Participants will be able to compete in a variety of distances, from 25 meters freestyle to endurance swims of up to 450 meters. For anyone who wants to enjoy the pleasure of winter swimming without the stress of competition, recreational-class distances without timekeeping will also be offered.

Take part in this exciting celebration and become part of a world-class event in Liepāja!
