When the darkness of autumn envelops the earth and candle flames cast mysterious shadows, Mālpils Manor invites you on a journey through time - to a world where history intertwines with legends, where footsteps from the past may still be heard in the corridors…

In the company of the experienced guide Dainis, we will discover the manor’s stories, take a look into its mysterious history, and surrender to thrilling legends about ghosts and unexplained events experienced by both staff and guests.

You will learn about the cruel Baron Gustav Wilhelm von Taube, whose shadow is still said to wander the corridors, about the black dog that appears behind locked doors, about the man in a black hat at the third-floor window, about the unfortunate Anete, and other unexplained events. By candlelight and in the manor’s ancient atmosphere, these stories will come especially alive!

Before or after the tour, we invite you to the restaurant to enjoy the manor’s legendary dishes. Seasonal dishes created by Chef Aija Gabrāne from the bounty of Latvian nature will turn the evening into a true gourmet and mystical experience.
