Lecture "Fighting for Latvia's Future: Women's Involvement in the Latvian War of Independence"

On November 5, the lecture "In the fight for Latvia's future: women's involvement in the Latvian War of Independence" will be held at the Kuldīgas County Museum's Open Collection exposition.

The lecture will tell about the important role of women during the Latvian War of Independence, looking at the trends of wider public involvement as well as the stories of individual organizations and personalities.

Visitors will be able to learn more about the activities of the Latvian Women's Aid Corps, women - knights of the Lāčplēš Military Order, as well as other examples that reveal the contribution of women to the fight for an independent and democratic Latvia.
