Leviticus

The film studio behind the horror film Talk to Me presents the chilling, internationally acclaimed horror thriller LEVITICUS. After its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, critics hailed it as one of the most impressive horror films in recent years - a haunting, emotionally devastating and unsettling nightmare that gets under your skin. LEVITICUS draws comparisons to films like Bones and All, It Follows and Talk to Me, yet forges its own identity: brutal, deeply intimate and utterly unforgettable.

Introverted and shy teenager Naim (Joe Bird, Talk to Me) moves with his cold, devout mother (Mia Wasikowska) to an isolated, fanatically religious town in the Australian outback. His only comfort is the charismatic local boy Ryan (Stacey Klozen), and a forbidden love blossoms between them. But in this isolated community, such love is seen not only as a sin, but as a curse. When their secret is discovered, the town elders turn to a radical and brutal blood ritual, desperately trying to 'cure' the boys. But instead of saving them, they awaken something far more terrifying and dark.

As inexplicable and horrific events begin to unfold, the boys realize they are being watched. They are soon haunted by a menacing demonic entity that uses the cruelest weapon imaginable to lure its victims: it imitates the face, voice and touch of the person its victim loves most.

LEVITICUS is a visually hypnotic and emotionally shattering horror film in which religious fanaticism, desire and paranoia merge into a terrifying, nightmarish experience. Here love becomes obsession, the body becomes punishment, and the greatest horrors lie not in the shadows, but in the agonizing realization that the person trying to kill you is the one you trusted most.

The film is in English with subtitles in Latvian and Russian.
