Bread Day at Hoijere’s House with the folk band Paurupīte

On Sunday, October 25, at 12:00, the Bread Day event with baker Aivars Ozols and the folk band Paurupīte will take place at the Liepāja 17th-19th century interior museum, Mrs. Hoijere’s Guest House, at 24 Kungu Street.

The bread oven will be lit at around 10:30, and at around 12:00 the freshly baked Hoijere bread will be available for tasting and purchase. Under the guidance of the experienced baker Aivars Ozols, visitors will be able to discover the nuances of traditional bread-making and enjoy its aroma and taste in the atmosphere of the historic house.

From 12: 00, the folk band Paurupīte will perform, featuring Latvian folk music, songs, and dances in its repertoire. Bread Day will be an opportunity for families and other interested visitors to learn about culinary heritage traditions and spend Sunday accompanied by live music.
