Solo concert at the Jelgava St. Trinity Church Tower

At the end of the year - on December 27, we invite you to a special and beautiful afternoon in the very heart of Jelgava - the St. Trinity Church Tower. Guitar virtuoso, composer, and arranger Mārcis Auziņš will provide an unforgettable sound.

The solo concert is Mārcis Auziņš's element and his great calling. A guitar in Mārcis Auziņš's hands is an entire orchestra. Years of honed mastery make it possible to conjure a complete musical landscape on a single instrument and a unique experience of presence for the audience.

The concert program will feature Mārcis Auziņš's original compositions and specially created arrangements for solo guitar of works by popular Latvian and international composers and performers - Zigmars Liepiņš, Imants Kalniņš, Raimonds Pauls, Sting, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Eric Clapton, and even The Queen.

The concert takes place on the 9th-floor viewing platform of the Jelgava St. Trinity Church Tower. The viewing platform is not accessible by wheelchair.

When purchasing a ticket, a seat is guaranteed, but the seats are not numbered, so they can only be chosen upon arrival at the concert.

Admission for children up to 7 years old, inclusive, is free of charge upon presenting a document confirming the child’s age at the entrance to the event, without providing a separate seat.

Entry to the event is from 2: 30 PM. Guests will be offered a hot drink and a Christmas treat.

The number of seats is limited, so we recommend purchasing admission tickets in advance.
