MARIACHI CHRISTMAS

Rasa Bugavičute-Pēce • Director – Mārtiņš Kalita

A musical holiday journey for the whole family

From faraway lands where there is not the slightest trace of snow or frost, they rush to seek the Christmas miracle - the unstoppable mariachis El-Panadero, El-Longo, and El-Fato. The three enthusiastic men know only so much about the holidays: for one, they are associated with mountains of gifts, for another with the chance to eat to one's heart's content, and for yet another with decorating an evergreen, thorny little tree so that everyone can join together in songs around it.

In their search for the much-talked-about holiday miracle here and there across our shared planet, the mariachis are blown and snowed in with us - at the small hall of the Liepāja Theatre in the concert hall "Great Amber", where at last everything becomes clear to everyone: this meeting itself is also a true Christmas miracle.
