Mārtiņi Day in Jelgava Old Town
On November 10, Mārtiņi Day will be celebrated in the Jelgava Old Town Street Quarter and at the Jelgava Old Town House, a traditional Latvian holiday that symbolizes the end of autumn and the beginning of winter.
In Latvian traditions, Mārtiņi Day is associated with disguises, mummers, songs, and being together.
