A concert dedicated to Martin’s Day, “Come, come, big and small!”

On November 12 at 6: 00 p.m., the children's vocal studio “Knīpas un Knauķi” will present a concert dedicated to Martin’s Day, “Come, come, big and small!” in the Great Hall of the Ziemeļblāzma Cultural Palace. In the concert, the little singers will invite listeners to celebrate the splendor of autumn, the joy of song, and Latvian traditions together.

Martin’s Day has long marked the end of autumn and the beginning of the wait for winter. It is a time when people come together to sing, rejoice, and celebrate. The children's vocal studio “Knīpas un Knauķi” also invites big and small alike to a heartfelt gathering filled with musical surprises, where the main creators of the celebration will be the children themselves.

The concert will feature the studio's groups “Mazputniņi,” “Cālīši,” “Vālodzītes,” “Zvirbulīši,” “Kīvītes,” and “Urdaviņas,” filling the Ziemeļblāzma Cultural Palace with clear voices, zest for life, and the warmth characteristic of children.

The concert program will include beloved songs by Vita Siliņa and Jānis Ķirsis, whose melodies, playfulness, and heartfelt stories speak to both the young singers and their listeners. The songs will bring together the joy of childhood, the colors of nature, friendship, and the magic of being together.

The concert “Come, come, big and small!” will be a musical adventure for the whole family - a chance to pause for a moment in the rush of everyday life, enjoy the joy of children's singing, and create a bright, warm holiday atmosphere together on an autumn evening.
