A traveling theatre troupe is ready for the dress rehearsal of the performance - or at least that is what they thought. Props change like smuggled goods, the seams of office romances unravel, lines get mixed up, and backstage turns into an emotional eruption in the sanitary facilities...

There is no time, alliances keep changing, and the farce, so dependent on control, falls apart before its creators' eyes. In the middle of it all are others who are at war with the sardines and make themselves known by slamming doors like prima donnas. This is not just comedy. It is a slow crash - loud, chaotic, but impossible to look away from.

The canonical theatre work "A Bit Too Loud" explores "theatre through theatre": the stage illusion must be preserved - it needs not only to be performed, but also lived through and completely torn down.
