Masters' Day in Suiti
Workshop
On 10 October, the Alsunga House of Crafts will host the tradition-rich event “Masters' Day in Suiti”. Interested participants will have the opportunity to learn and develop traditional handicraft skills in five different masterclasses led by experienced craft masters.
Offered masterclasses:
Glove and mitten knitting (led by Baiba Pilāne)
Towel lace crochet (led by Laila Puķīte)
Tips for weaving Suiti blankets (led by Māris Maniņš)
Embroidering decorative collars (led by Dace Tunne)
Knitting warm jackets (led by Ivonna Zīverte)
