SCRAP METAL

Three women. Three fates. Three stories.

Life is like a scrap yard - you can find both valuable metals and rusty junk there. How can you avoid mistakes when choosing what you need?!

Through laughter and tears, they will share their stories, where love and pain are fused together - inseparable. About a cup of coffee shared together, left far in the past, about what the homeland gave and unexpectedly took away, about a stubborn struggle toward victory and the wounds gained along the way.

"Scrap Metal" is Alla Korovkina's first play. It became a laureate of the Samara Playwrights' Competition, reached the final of the Satire Theatre competition in Moscow, was staged in St. Petersburg, Samara, and Ufa, and has now found new life in Daugavpils, the city where one of the events described in the play took place.
