Michaelmas Fair in Jēkabpils

Autumn is here with its bright colors and generous harvest!

We invite you and your families to a warm and lively Michaelmas fair, “Harvest Fest,” to celebrate the autumn equinox together, enjoy the gifts of the land, and share in being together on September 27 this year from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Krustpils open-air stage, where admission is completely free for everyone.

The cheerful festival program will offer a variety of entertainment throughout the day! From the morning, the folk group “Rati” will set the fair to music, and folk dance ensembles will invite you to dance. You will be able to try your hand at Umurkumurs and find out who will win the “Heaviest Pumpkin” contest.

At lunchtime, “Ziņģes Brāļi” will take care of the musical mood, and later we will celebrate Michaelmas together with the Ukrainian, Polish, Belarusian, and Russian associations of Jēkabpils.

Come enjoy the true magic of autumn, support local traders, and fill your baskets with country produce!
