“Shades of Love” A Poetry Concert by Lilia Koch

And what shade of love are you living right now?

Love comes in many forms.

Bright and uplifting.

Complicated and almost impossible.

Maternal, romantic, lost, returned.

Sometimes it hides in familiar little things. Sometimes it comes through pain and forces us to learn how to hear ourselves again.

We put off conversations with loved ones.

We are afraid to show our vulnerability.

We try to earn love.

We keep arguing with ourselves and with the past.

And then one poem suddenly says exactly what we have not been able to express for years.

This evening will be a time to hear your own feelings.

At this concert, Lilia Koch will read poems from the new collection Shades of Love and share the stories from which they were born.
