Modern Calligraphy Workshop at the “Eglāji” Farmstead

Calligraphy is not just beautiful letters. It is a chance to pause for a moment, focus on one line, one movement, and let yourself slip into a light meditation. I want to give you the opportunity to try calligraphy and experience how the feeling changes when, instead of everyday rush, your attention gradually shifts to what is happening right here on the paper. During the class, I will talk about what calligraphy can give you much more deeply than just beautiful handwriting.

This time we will meet at the welcoming and beautiful farmstead “Eglāji” in Jēkabpils Municipality, where the peaceful setting will be a wonderful place to spend time with yourself and let yourself be creative.
