"The Island of the Lonely Planet" is actor Ģirts Krūmiņš's personal story about quarantine during the pandemic, the isolation it caused, and the path toward a much broader understanding of the world and of himself. Although the pandemic is now part of the past, the experience gained during that time became an important turning point in the actor's life.

This is a mono-performance with stand-up comedy elements, based on true events. Unexpectedly for many, it is in this performance that Ģirts Krūmiņš reveals his vivid sense of humor and does not hide his self-irony, turning personal experience into a heartfelt, witty, and wise story.
