Translated from English by Andris Kuprišs

Premiere - October 9, 2020

A production in 2 acts

The production "Monster" tells the story of a young, inexperienced, but very conscientious teacher, Tom, who is assigned fifteen-year-old Daryl, who is already far more experienced. Like his peers and the idols of popular culture, Daryl fears nothing and cares about no one. In order to carry out his teacher's mission and save from expulsion a student who would rightly be called "difficult to educate," the young educator is forced to get to know the previously unknown world of hip-hop, slang, and glorified violence, which makes him reassess his own seemingly proper life.
