Moon Over Māra debut album “Nascence” launch at Vagonu Halle

Dear Māra, return the bodiless body to the earth!

Her four children, called Moon Over Māra, have created an experimental pop album to announce the decline of the algorithm. They sing beautiful songs to summon all her children. They tell strange tales to heal people, restore their connections, and tear away the tools that have separated them. The album “Nascence” will be released in November 2026.

“We are Moon Over Māra, four interconnected beings living in Latvia and the United Kingdom. Our name comes from Latvian mythology, where Māra is the Mother of Earth, the highest of the deities. Music is the art form in which we find a shared expression. It is about the connections that flow through us, you, and everyone else; against systems that divide us both collectively and individually, by action or by dulling us. Our first album is called Nascence and consists of eleven co-created songs. It will be released in November, when we will play our debut concert in Riga.”
