The Museum’s First Scholarly Article Collection Book Launch Event, “Kuldīga. Courland. The 19th Century”

On October 2 at 3: 00 p.m., the Kuldīga Museum’s Historical Bangert Villa will host the launch event for the museum’s first collection of scholarly articles, “Kuldīga. Courland. The 19th Century.”

This collection of articles is an important event in the museum’s work and marks the beginning of a new tradition, gathering and publishing the museum’s research work. In this volume, eight researchers examine various aspects of the history of Kuldīga and Courland in the 19th century, focusing on the town’s inhabitants, archaeology, and military, cultural, and religious history.
