Concert by the Neoclassical and Electronic Music Duo Grandbrothers

Combining acoustic piano music, the energy of electronic music, and innovative sound technology, the musicians will present an impressive audiovisual concert show in Riga, where the sound of a classical grand piano takes on unexpected and surprising dimensions.

The German duo Grandbrothers - pianist and composer Erol Sarp and sound engineer and software developer Lukas Vogel - have become one of the most striking names in today's world of contemporary classical and electronic music.

Their unique sound is created by integrating the latest technology and live electronic textures into the classic sound of the piano. No digital samples or virtual synthesizers are used on stage - all the music is created right before the audience's eyes, physically transforming the instrument's acoustic sound with a self-built electromechanical system.
