"Golden Avalanche"

Based on a play by Valentin Krasnogorov

What will happen if a small town suddenly comes into possession of a billion dollars? It would seem like a gift of fate. But very soon the main question becomes frighteningly simple: how should the wealth be divided among the residents?

Valentin Krasnogorov's black comedy turns an unbelievable situation into a merciless satire on human nature. Greed, fear, the struggle for power, and the pursuit of personal gain gradually push common sense aside, and absurdity becomes the new reality.

Unexpected directorial decisions, expressive lighting and sound effects, and vivid stage images create an atmosphere of grotesque, where laughter becomes more and more uneasy and the comedy increasingly resembles tragedy.

"Golden Avalanche" is a performance that makes you laugh, wonder, and ask: what happens to a person when money becomes the highest value?

The performance is in Russian.
