Orienteering Event “Get Scared in Jelgava”

orienteering event “Get Scared in Jelgava,” in which the people of Jelgava are invited to prove their erudition, as well as their orienteering and teamwork skills, by completing various tasks in the urban environment. The decisive factor will not be speed, but the ability to orient oneself, understand the task and, of course, also luck. Therefore, this event will be within everyone’s reach, including families with children. Teams must have 2 to 6 participants. Registration is open until October 26. Participants should note, however, that this year there is a participation fee for the event of 5 euros per person.

The event is organized by the creative center “Junda.” The organizers inform that this year the concept has been slightly changed and the start will be common for all teams - from “Junda” at Zemgales Prospekts 7 exactly at 7 p.m. Teams will receive the tasks simultaneously at 7 p.m., all at once, and will be able to think tactically about which one to go to first. All participants who have registered in advance must check in on site from 6 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. The finish must be reached by 9 p.m., and the award ceremony is scheduled for 9:40 p.m.
