Events at "PILNĪGS KUKŪ"

On October 31 from 14: 00 to 17:00, PILNĪGS KUKŪ will be taken over by monsters, witches, and other suspicious creatures.

Before heading out for candy hunting in the evening, put on your scariest, funniest, or strangest costume and come to the Monster Party for children (recommended age: 5 to 10 years old)!

In the world of KUKŪ, you will need to search for hidden monsters, complete challenges, put your hand into boxes where it might be better not to know what is inside, and of course, dance on a real Monster dance floor with lights, music, and smoke. There will also be a Monster parade, temporary tattoos, Monster hunts, and other surprises. Those who successfully complete the Monster hunt will also get a small surprise. 🧙 Come in costume! Witch, vampire, ghost, pumpkin, dinosaur, or something that does not even have a name yet - everything is welcome here.

Music That Changed Cinema is an epic concert experience in which ERNA ÖRN, with her unique sound, brings cinematic music legends to life - pieces that have become part of our memories, dreams, and emotions. This is a journey through iconic cinematic worlds - the adventures of Pirates of the Caribbean, the magic of Harry Potter, the grandeur of The Lord of the Rings, the power of Game of Thrones, the courage of Gladiator, the cosmic vastness of Star Wars, and other unforgettable legends. The program will feature music by composers such as Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and Howard Shore - in ERNA ÖRN’s interpretation.

On November 13 at 21: 00 | LATVIAN HIT NIGHT, just before the state holidays. In the mood of 100% Latvian music. At the drinks bar - Edžiņš, at the music booth - DJ Johansons. All night long, only Latvian music will play - well-known hits, songs whose lyrics you know by heart, and tracks that never leave the dance floor empty. This will be an evening for ages 30+ - for those who want to dance, meet people, and enjoy a proper Latvian party. Throughout the evening - a new KUKŪ challenge in a Latvian mood, surprises, and other activities.

On November 14 at 18: 00, thanks to the initiative of @degungalaa, PILNĪGS KUKŪ will host the first Threads Jelgava meetup! Time to get to know each other outside the phone screen too, meet the people whose posts we read every day, and find out whether they are just as interesting in real life as they are on Threads!

On the evening of November 27, MIKUS FRIŠFELDS will visit us with his STAND-UP song comedy show. The concert will feature songs about children entering the family, relationships with princesses and beloved witches, battles with oneself, the green dragon, and the world from the perspective of a 40+ man. His healthy internet hit “37divi” and the inspiring motivational song for forty-somethings “Champion in the 40+ Class” will also be performed. This will possibly be the presentation concert for the album “40+ (songs about men’s rights and conditions).” The concert is planned as a lighthearted, self-ironic therapy session for 40+ men, allowing them to feel that they are not alone in their odysseys and that others are going through something similar. For ladies, it will be a unique chance to look into the primitively complicated emotional world of a 40+ man and understand that men do have feelings and do feel things. If you are not yet 40+, only 30+, do not worry and come anyway - you will understand where everything is heading. It took more than 40 years for Mikus to organize his first self-produced solo concert. Come and become a roaring part of men’s rights history!

On December 11 at 21: 00, PILNĪGS KUKŪ turns back into an 80s and 90s disco! Pull out your proudest clothes, tease up your hair, and prepare the dance moves you have not used since the nineties! This time, DJ AI-VA - one of Latvia’s most experienced DJs - will be at the decks and has prepared a special 80s and 90s VIDEO DISCO program! That means not only music, but also music videos from the era and a visual journey back to the days when MTV still showed music and songs could be recognized after just the first three seconds. Everything will be played - from ABBA to Backstreet Boys, from Modern Talking to Madonna, from Boney M to the dance-floor anthems of the nineties. As usual, there will also be special evening cocktails at the bar. The Grumpy Cucumber will also return.
