Event for Babies "Come into the Forest!"

On 25 October at 11.00, the Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music invites parents with babies aged 6 months to 3 years to the cycle "Baby at the Museum" event "Come into the Forest!", which will take place in the permanent exhibition "Procrastination and Creation" at 6 Mārstaļu Street, Riga.

This time, a forest will enter the museum spaces. Little visitors together with their parents will go on an exciting sensory journey, where they can listen to the sounds of the forest, get to know its inhabitants, explore plants and trees, and discover the secrets of the natural world through play. What rustles beneath the leaves? What hides behind the moss? What does the forest sound like when we pause for a moment and listen?

The program includes activities that support babies' sensory development and curiosity, encouraging them to look, listen, touch, explore, and discover the world through experience together. The event is designed as a peaceful and creative environment in which children can get to know the forest and the museum at their own pace.

The cycle "Baby at the Museum" offers the youngest visitors their first encounter with the museum, creating an opportunity for families to spend time together in a cultural setting and take part in activities specially suited to babies.

There is no need to hurry in the forest. Here you can simply be, listen, wonder, and together discover the little miracles that are hidden around us.
