"The Gypsy Girl Ringla" (based on a poem by Ēriks Ādamsons)

Once, grandmother Jaža, sitting by the campfire, tells the children a mighty story about Bear Ričus. He lives in the far-away forest, and on his table there is always an abundance of jars of honey and sweet cakes. The nimble girl Ringla can no longer wait even a moment and, as soon as everyone has gone to sleep, hurries off to find the way to Bear Ričus. But just then Ringla’s great adventures begin too, as she meets many forest animals and birds. Ringla must be clever enough to make it to her destination safely. In the end, everything ends well, and the visit is so lovely that Ringla will never forget it.

"The Snow Queen" (based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen)

When the evil devil breaks the mirror, one shard strikes the boy Kai in the eye and the heart. Everything that has been lovely and beautiful until now disappears - friendship with Gerda, joy, and care for flowers and all living creatures. Kai’s heart becomes cold and cruel. This is exactly what the Snow Queen is waiting for, so she can take Kai with her to her icy kingdom. But Gerda is ready to do everything in her power to save Kai. The task is not easy, but Gerda is helped by the Robber Girl and the Reindeer and, as always in fairy tales, in the end good triumphs over evil.
