Spend your autumn school holiday at the museum!

During the autumn school holiday week from October 20 to 24, we invite you to visit the Railway History Museum of Latvia, where an educational and creative activities program will take place.

Every day from 10: 00 to 14:00 in the museum exhibition hall:

Children’s corner with wooden train and track building;

Appliqué workshop with ghost train making, “Ghost Workshop”;

Cinema corner with animated films about railway safety;

Game table with a railway theme.

On weekdays at 11: 00 and 13:00:

“Time to board the train!” boarding five carriages in the museum’s outdoor exhibition with a guide!*

Every day in the museum hall, the “Ghost Carriage” will be open with new season animated films from VAS “Latvian Railways” campaign “Railway ghosts are still warning.” The Railway Museum, together with VAS “Latvian Railways,” invites you to get to know these stories and to consider your own behavior on and near railway tracks, so as not to become a railway ghost!

During the holiday week, three screen-printing workshops will take place with the opportunity to print a bag with a railway theme.**

We also invite every visitor to view the demonstration of the largest railway model in the Baltics at every half hour.

The autumn holiday activities take place at the Railway History Museum of Latvia, Uzvaras Boulevard 2A, Riga.

Museum admission according to the price list, additional fees apply for certain activities:
