Birdwatching Hike: Krustpils – Jēkabpils

Would you like to spend a morning in nature and learn more about our feathered neighbors?

Join us on October 3 at 10: 00 a.m.! We will go on an approximately 6 km walk with the knowledgeable ornithologist Dmitrijs Boiko from the Latvian National Museum of Natural History.

The route will take us through city parks, along the Daugava riverbank, all the way to Mežaparks and the Radži Reservoir.

After the active hike, all participants will have the chance to warm up and recharge at the café “Grill In,” where everyone will be treated to hot tea and delicious pies from “Gaļas nams.”

If you would like to replenish your energy more fully, you will also be able to purchase other food and drinks at the café at your own expense.

Meeting point: 10:00 a.m. on the Krustpils islet by the stage.

End point: the central beach of the Radži Reservoir (café “Grill In”).

Duration: approximately 4 hours. Clothing: suitable for the weather and comfortable. If you have binoculars, it is recommended to bring them along.
