Creative Gin Making Masterclass at the ŌBDO Gin Distillery

Create your own unique gin flavor with us at Latvia’s craft gin distillery ŌBDO in Riga, Miera Street 29!

Two brothers in the heart of Riga have embarked on an exciting craft gin adventure, introducing the world to the richness of Latvian nature by creating a unique Latvian gin flavor.

Discover the world of craft gin by creating your own unique gin recipe. Together we will learn about gin ingredients, the production process, and discover the flavors and aromas that shape gin.

While listening to interesting stories about the history of gin, gin making, and current trends today, you will learn the art of distilling at one of our copper stills, which will allow you to go home after the event with a bottle of gin you made yourself. During the evening, you will also learn the ŌBDO story, get acquainted with ŌBDO gin production processes, and taste both ŌBDO gin and ŌBDO gin cocktails.

Creation of your gin recipe, distillation, and bottling in a 200ml bottle;

Tour of the OBDO gin distillery, introduction to the production processes,

Tasting of ŌBDO SŌUL gin (20ml), ŌBDO ADŌRE gin (20ml), and ŌBDO NEGRŌNI (20ml);

1 ŌBDO gin & tonic or ŌBDO Negroni cocktail;

Tasting of genuine bean-to-bar ŌBDO DZIIVA chocolate - created in Latvia from raw materials used in gin production;

Small snacks;

EUR 5 discount on the purchase of ŌBDO gin, negroni, or non-alcoholic gin (700ml).

Gin making takes place in groups of 4-6 people at one distillation unit.

Total number of participants: 12 people. Duration up to 3h. The service is available to persons aged 18 and over. Please note that you may not drive a vehicle after the tasting!
