(in the original language "Run for your wife") by the world-famous English comedy master Ray Cooney is coming to the audience all over Latvia and in Skrīveri. The productions of the great master of farces make millions of viewers around the world laugh to tears, and this play is no exception! "Läbjas kes var..." is a work highly appreciated by critics and viewers, for which the author has received awards not only in Europe. Based on the motives of this comedy, scripts have been created for films that have been shown on screens in many parts of the world. In addition, this comedy is still considered to be the longest-running production in the famous West End theater of London. John Smith's story will be relived on stage by stage personalities who do not require comments - the star of crime series Andris Daugavins, great actors - Lelde Dreimane, Rihards Lepers, Linda Kalniņa, Jānis Jarāns, Edgars Lipors or Valdis Pavlovskis, as well as director Valdis Pavlovskis and comedian Edgars Bāliņš. Since the plot of the comedy is relevant in all times and places, it is very likely that the audience will be able to see one of their friends or acquaintances behind these colorful characters. At the same time, the comically absurd situations will allow you to forget everyday worries and live with events that were not predictable in advance. The main character of the plot is the taxi driver John Smits (Andris Daugavins). Nothing special - you say? This is where the main intrigue begins! Because John was not like the other colleagues - he lived two parallel lives at the same time, staying in two different places of life with two completely different wives (Lelde Dreimane and Linda Kalniņa)! All this is possible, understandably, if you stick to a strictly set schedule. It would have gone on like this forever, without the slightest suspicion, had not the shrewd John Smith intervened in the fight, resulting in a severe head injury and Smith waking up in the hospital. The world contained in the strict schedule began to quickly fall apart! To save his own skin, Smith becomes embroiled in trying to explain the situation to both wives. Melulavin grew tall. Helping a friend, Smith's friend and neighbor (Rihards Leper) came to help with his lies. But the situation got even worse! In addition, to complicate everything even more, even police officers (Jānis Jarāns and Valdis Pavlovskis) are involved in the investigation of the case. Well, all that's left is to save yourself! But maybe there will still be hope to find a way out? The audience will be able to find out when they come to the show.
