Religion and Cults. The Dark Side of Faith

In this lecture-performance, we will познакомиться with the world’s most notorious cults, their crimes, and the psychology behind them. We will look into the dark side of religion, where those seeking help, miracles, and healing end up in the worst relationships of their lives, while those who promise to serve turn others into their servants.

Stories about people whose faith, hope, and need to belong are used for psychological manipulation, control, and criminal purposes. We will look at how religious communities can turn into destructive cults, how cult thinking and behavior develop today, and what psychological methods are used to influence, subjugate, and exploit people.

Each admission ticket includes a seat at a table.
