A Talk with Orienteer Ilze Jumiķe in Ikšķile

On November 4 at 6: 00 p.m., we invite you to the Ikšķile Youth Center for a talk with orienteer Ilze Jumiķe.

Ilze Jumiķe is only 19, but she has already achieved remarkable success in Latvia and around the world!

A Latvian national team athlete who represents Latvia in international orienteering competitions.

In 2025, she won a silver medal in the sprint at the European Youth Championships.

At the 2025 World Junior Championships, she placed 9th in the sprint and 16th in the middle distance.

She has earned medal-winning places at the Latvian Championships in various orienteering disciplines.

In 2026, she was the fastest Latvian woman in the half marathon at the Riga Marathon.
