Concert for Senior Citizens’ Day with musician and poet Guntars Račs

On October 9 at 6: 00 p.m. at the Sēja Culture House, we invite you to a concert dedicated to Senior Citizens’ Day with musician and poet Guntars Račs.

In the first part of the evening, you will have the chance to hear both new songs written and performed by Guntars himself, as well as well-known and heartfelt pieces composed by maestro Raimonds Pauls and other outstanding collaborators.

The musical performance will be beautifully complemented by literary moments, and those present will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the poetry read by the author from Guntars’ brand-new book published in September, “IZLASE 365”. Guntars will also introduce attendees to his book of poems and flowers, “Uzplaukt”.

Guntars’ performance will be joined by guest artist, the young and talented country music musician Edvards Strazdiņš.

After the heartfelt concert, all visitors will have the opportunity to talk with the artists, buy books, get autographs on the new editions, including Edvards Strazdiņš’s music album. The artists will also gladly capture the meeting in group photos.

In the second part, those present will be entertained by the evening host Ēriks Smaļķis, who with his tireless energy and ability to delight everyone will create a fun, lively, and engaging atmosphere.

The evening program is planned until 9:00 p.m.
