At the 55th anniversary concert of Aira Rūrāne, vocal pedagogue at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, a special two-part program will bring together youthful zest and mature stage experience in genuine love of music.

This concert will be a story about a life devoted to the stage and a heart given to its students.

The festive concert in two parts will surprise with its range of emotions and genres:

In part 1, opera arias and solo songs by various composers will be performed by the jubilarian's students - as a musical greeting to their teacher.

In part 2 - Peteris Butāns' fiery song cycle “Love Songs” with poetry by Fricis Bārda. In this part, the sound of the chamber choir “Vidus” will merge into one pulse with the jubilarian's voice and tango rhythms.

Come and be part of this celebration!
