Synopsis: The events of this tense spy thriller feature film take place in 1938 and tell the story of journalist Baltais, who is sent on a secret mission to the border area to prevent the possible transfer of a Russian reconnaissance pilot to Russia with information that threatens the security of the Latvian state. During this mission, Baltais discovers other secret plans of the Soviet spy network and comes to know true friendship, loyalty, and betrayal. The question - which side are you on - sharply echoes later historical events and also the present day.

The film is directed by Andrejs Ēķis, produced by Dita Cimermane, cinematography by Gatis Grīnbergs, music by Rihards Zaļupe.

The lead role, Lieutenant Baltais, is played by Jēkabs Reinis. Cast: Vilis Daudziņš, Kaspars Zvīgulis, Santa Breikša, Kaspars Znotiņš, Elizabete Milta, and others.
