"DAD After 20 Years" with Ainārs Ančevskis

Perhaps Panna Theatre's audience still remembers the comedy performed many years ago

a humorous study of male nature, "Dad."

Back then, the then-young actor Ainārs Ančevskis, in a witty and

warm way, spoke about male nature, philosophy, relationships, and feelings at the stage

of life when he is preparing to become a father.

20 years have passed.

Over these years, young parents have tried various parenting methods.

From Montessori and Waldorf education to

programs approved by the Ministry of Education, and hardly any parent has been at peace with a teenager's antics and

actions.

"Bring him home screaming from the hospital and realize that those poops on your hands do not smell

of beer, nor of the pond, and even less of garlic toast.

And that this screaming opera singer will not be your fishing

buddy for at least 16 more years...

But just as he finishes pooping his pants, suddenly he turns fourteen and puts a sign on his

room door:

"STOP! Old people are not allowed in this room!"

Actor Ainārs Ančevskis has grown up together with the character in the show and can now experience

the full wide spectrum of raising a twenty-year-old son in the new show, the comedy

"Dad After 20 Years."

Raising children is unquestionably the hardest and most sacrificial thing a man

can do in his life.

But it is one of those important parts of life that has to be experienced firsthand and

that he would not trade for anything in the world.

The new show will be on stage from January 30 at many cultural venues across Latvia.

actor Ainārs Ančevskis, and

the creative team of the PANNAS TEĀTRIS performance company.
