The Red Shed

On the shore of the Baltic Sea stands a small red shed. It is a metaphor by the Latvian émigré artist Raimonds Staprāns, known as an expressionist realist. The shed takes on real form - it becomes a historical laboratory not only for events in the history of Latvia and Europe, but also a point of reference for the life journey of a vivid, tenacious, and untamed artist.

Alongside this, the colors of San Francisco, the palette of Latvia, the past, the present, fiction film, and documentary textures intertwine.
