Two friends - an unhappy housewife and an independent shopkeeper - decide to break away for a couple of days from their boring home life with no less boring and violent husbands, boyfriends, and their predictable needs. On the trip, the two, defending their freedom as women, commit a crime against their will, and a desperate escape begins. Those they meet along the way are a mirror of today’s society.

If a theater has two actresses like Elīna Vāne and Ieva Puķe, then this story simply has to be staged. “I absolutely love this piece! It’s like a situation in which a person begins to understand the word freedom,” says director Juris Rijnieks.

Director Ridley Scott’s film Thelma and Louise hit the screens in 1991, making it the cliché of the perfect road movie.
