Meeting with Fashion Designer Dāvids

On November 5 at 5: 00 PM, a meeting with fashion designer, costume designer, and television personality Dāvids, whose real name is Romans Andrejevs, will take place at the Dobele Municipality Central Library.

Dāvids is widely known to the public as the host of the popular “Dāvidšovs” and as a striking personality in Latvia’s fashion world. His creations are marked by bold color choices and meticulous tailoring, while his direct language and sense of humor have made his appearances on television, radio, and in the press memorable.

Alongside his work in fashion, Dāvids has in recent years turned his attention seriously to life in the countryside. He has established a garden, grows tomato, cucumber, and pepper seedlings, and is also a certified beekeeper. He has described his outlook on life on the Latvian Radio program “Monopols” with the words: “I have everything, and I need nothing more!”

The meeting at the library will be an opportunity to get to know Dāvids better and to learn about his creative path, life experience, and interests that reach far beyond the world of fashion.
