And Pif Again

Little dog Pif and tomcat Hercules, godmother Agate and godfather Tontons, Dudou and Rosalija. These characters need no introduction either in France, where they were created many years ago by French cartoonist Jean Arnall, or in Latvia, where they have been known to several generations for a long time, both as comic book and puppet theatre characters.

At the Latvian Puppet Theatre, the good-natured Pif and the sly Hercules have gone through repeated stagings and form part of the theatre's Golden Fund. Also considered part of the classic canon of Latvian children's music are the songs by Ivars Vīgners heard in the performance.
